If you're fishing in streams or rivers, or ponds
or lakes where crayfish ("crawdads") are found, give the Fish-N-Craw™ a cast!
The Fish-N-Craw™ uses the same spinner assembly as the Fish-N-Spin™, but uses a
1" long craw body, rather than a tube body. The craw is very detailed, even down
to the pinchers, which "come alive" as the lure is brought through the water!
To
fish this lure, a slow, steady retrieve often works well, as does a "lift
and drop" technique. Reel the lure slowly, then let it "drop" to the bottom.
Lift the lure with your rod tip, reel steady for a short time, and then
let the lure "drop" again. You can also achieve a similar result by reeling
steady, then "popping" your rod tip to make the lure "jump." Then let
the lure "drop" back down and reel steady retrieve can take over again.
Smallmouth,
rock bass and bluegill are especially attracted to the Fish-N-Craw™,
so look forward to some hard-fought battles with these guys-and be ready
to hang on for some great ultralight fun!
